Written by Paul Cornell.

Takes place in Wiltshire and Avalon; self-dated July 2012 CE. It is convenient for this chronology that this, rejuvenated, iteration of the Brigadier largely disappears from the world only seven months after the non-rejuvenated dies in Acceptance, then Understanding. Although we’re not out of the woods yet.

Takes place in Whitby and the North York Moors. 1942 CE was “seventy” years previously. The Ragged School is soon to be reopened: one may speculate that this story is set in the school summer holidays, with the reopening due at the beginning of the academic year in September. The Mr Turlogh in this story has a tail, but there is not enough information about Trions to rule this out as something that might be true of Vislor Turlogh.

Vamps (2012) is a vampire film broadly compatible with Doctor Who narrative, given that Doctor Who narrative is sometimes silly.

Frozen Time Audio drama, released 2007                                                    Doctor: 7

featuring the Ice Warriors, with the Earth Reptiles (informative mention)

Written by Nicholas Briggs.

Informed guess Takes place in Antarctica; self-dated 2012 CE, probably summer). Although millions of years have, strictly speaking, passed for the Doctor and the TARDIS by the end of this story, they haven’t for Gallifrey next time he interacts with it. Perhaps the TARDIS, registering that his mind is no longer working, goes into stasis, or indeed, temporal orbit.

Upstream Color, released in January 2013, is a plausible manifestation of The Enemy on Earth: what I particularly like about it from this point of view is that while it displays The Enemy’s characteristic confluence of anatomical and semantic horror, there is a distinct suggestion that the phenomenon that the protagonists of the film experience is not actively hostile to them, but only harms them in passing, as one would expect if Tellurians are essentially bystanders in the Second War In Heaven. In the end, the protagonists have come to a modus vivendi with the alien life passing through them.
