UNIT being disbanded during the year (the UNIT Field
Logs), in this story it was carrying out raids in July, and certainly seems
to be a going concern going forward. It
may be that regardless of the British government’s thoughts on the matter, it was
incorporated into the World Security organisation headed by Donald Bruce in The Enemy
of the World, funded by the World Zones Authority.
