Takes place in New York, NY and elsewhere on Earth; the Doctor dates it as 50,000,000 CE. The Fate Of The Earth By this time, much of the Earth’s surface is glass. Its dominant species are giant ants, which farm large non-sentient food-animals descended from Tellurians. These survive until Earth’s final destruction in the far future, and beyond.
