the isthmus of the same name, northwest of Colombia.
Attachments Short story, published 2007 Doctor: 4
featuring
Oliver Day
Written by Scott Handcock.
Takes place in the UK; self-dated February 2007 CE.
Oliver Day leaves linear time in this story, being aboard the TARDIS when it
dematerialises.
Oliver Day is a Tellurian, born in,
perhaps, the early 1980s CE.
Untitled comic
story, published 2018, suggested title Sil Crazy After All of These Years Doctor:
10
Featuring Sil, Rose
Written by Rachael Smith.
Informed guess Takes place in London, between The Christmas Invasion and Army of Ghosts. Sil can surely only be on contemporary Earth by travelling into the

World War Three, in March 2006 CE.

published 2008 Doctor: 7
featuring

The Bride That Time Forgot Novel, published 2010 Doctor:
0
Featuring the Vampires, Brenda, the Smudgelings

that this is

be in April.

fixed form, incorporating useful characteristics from other species as they
encounter them.

Featuring Sarah Jane, K9 III
Written by Justin Richards.
Takes place in the UK, concluding during School Reunion.
School Reunion TV story, broadcast 2006 Doctor:
10
Featuring Sarah Jane, K9 III, Rose, Mickey, the
Krillitanes, with Torchwood, K9 IV (glimpse)
Written by Toby Whithouse, script supervised by Russell T Davies.
Takes place in London, after The Feast of the Drowned, and before The Rise of the Cybermen. Mickey leaves linear time, being aboard the
TARDIS when it dematerialises.
K9 Mark IV is a self-propelled artificial intelligence,
apparently gendered male for cultural reasons. The Doctor constructed him
presumably in the TARDIS, and therefore outside linear time, in imitation of
K9s mark I, II and III.
The Green-Eyed Monster Comic story, published 2006 Doctor: 10
Featuring
Rose, Mickey, Jackie
Written by Nev Fountain.
Takes place on Earth, before Rise of the Cybermen.

Winstone.

Rise of the Cybermen and The Age of Steel TV
story, broadcast 2006 Doctor:
10
Featuring
the Cybermen, Rose, Mickey, Jackie, with
Torchwood (informative mention)
Written by Tom MacRae, script supervised by Russell
T Davies.
Takes place on Pete’s World; self-dated February.
However, it must be after The Feast of the Drowned, so we must conclude that the
dates of Pete’s World are not synchronised with Earth’s. The last shot of it in
this story shows an Earth-like planet visible in Pete’s World’s sky: we may
conclude that it is the Fourth Universe’s equivalent of Earth and Mondas, and
that the two planets are somehow orbiting in proximity. Which would drag the
speed of orbit down, and pull the seasons out of line with Earth’s, so if we
suppose that the relationship between months and seasons remains the same, late
winter on Pete’s World’s northern hemisphere may well coincide with late
spring, early summer on Earth’s.
The Glarn Strategy Short story, published 2007 Doctor: 4

Cross Station, in London; self-dated July, 2007 CE.
The Alchemyst, the first volume of
Michael Scott’s Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel, was published
in 2007, and although it features time travel and fluid causality, we may assume
that the events of the sequence take place broadly between now and 2012, when
the last volume was published. As noted, its Archons certainly appear in The Nameless Sun, and iterations of
Vampires and Dr John Dee also feature.
Borrowed Time Novel, published 2011 Doctor:
11
Featuring Amy (possibly a ganger), Rory, with UNIT, Torchwood (glimpse)
Written by Naomi A Alderman.
That Torchwood turn up mob-handed in London places it before Army of Ghosts and
Doomsday, and evidently before the Ghost Shifts started.

10, with 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9 (glimpse)
Featuring Martha, with Steven, Dodo,
Lethbridge-Stewart, Jo, K9 II, Romana, Frobisher, Izzy and Rose (glimpse)
Written by Jonathan Morris.
Contemporary to publication
Takes place on research
base Truro in or not long after 2006 CE.
Darkmans (2007), a novel by Nicola Barker, can be reconciled with Doctor Who narrative as an account of a rogue N-form, that of sadistic fifteenth-century court jester John Scoggin, which imposes itself on the inhabitants of contemporary Ashford, in Kent.
Everything Changes TV story, broadcast 2006 Doctor: 0
Featuring Captain Jack, Torchwood
Written by Russell T Davies.
Informed guess Takes place in Cardiff, shortly after Doomsday. Gwen’s recruitment into Torchwood is dated October
2007 in The New
World, but that is too late to
accommodate Another Life and Border Princes. Torchwood seems to be a very laxly run
organisation all round, with virtually no oversight. Perhaps it is funded
entirely by the Royal family, and no one at Buckingham Palace is motivated to
keep close tabs on it, as a result of which Gwen only appears on the books a
couple of months after she starts working there.
