Naomi Mitchison’s 1962 novel Memoirs of a Spacewoman is set in Tellurian space at a time when it spans galaxies. The protagonist has a child with a hermaphroditic Martian of a sort that might have developed on Mars in the myriads since the third millennium. Mars in Doctor Who narrative is a fairly chaotic place anyway.
